Working at Transport could see you supporting the M1 Pacific Motorway Extension Project, consulting on environmental plans to design a sustainable future for our cities, managing environmental impacts for various projects or being involved in the Newcastle Inner City Bypass to help commuters have safe and efficient journeys. Our programs offer the following:
Graduate program
This program is for people who have completed their undergraduate degrees within the last two years.
This 18-month program comprises three rounds of six-month rotations, which will see you working in different teams and projects across the organisation. You might build your skills and experience in one discipline area or try something completely different with each rotation.
You’ll also participate in our structured learning and development program where you’ll have direct access to mentoring, networking events and workshops. You’ll better understand how the NSW public sector operates, develop skills that will help you thrive at work and master new tools and technologies while building lasting relationships within your colleagues.
By the end of the program, you’ll be able to add three professional placements to your resume. You will have developed invaluable skills and experience to take your career to the next level.
